Hi
Some people believe that suffering from back pain increases just because of the perception. Is it a myth or a truth? Can you explain it?
Thanks
Elizabeth

Hi...........!!!!
Many people think that suffering from back pain increases just because of perception. Negative psychological and emotional factors may not change the physiology of the back, but can tend to exaggerate the problem that already exists, so, reducing the perception of the pain through meditation can reduce the feeling of pain.

Some of the diseases do not occur as brought out by modern medical diagnosis, and this is not the forum for discussing causes of various diseases. How can perceiving or visualising aggravate a problem. Mental stress or strain can result in some disturbance in the nervous system but is unlikely to cause physical disturbance to the spinal column, however unless a patient is examined let us assume that some negative mental activity can cause stress in any part of the body. If you are suffering from such a complaint, please check the posture in which you do your work,or mental calculations, change your posture it is likely to help. Certain cases of recurring of back pain due to injury suffered some time back have been found to be cases of deep injury to nerves or cartlidges not properly treated. Some minor sprains cause problems if untreated. Also old injuries take a very long time to heal.
