Hello people.
I found power yoga to be really effective in reducing the weight. Power yoga burns about 237 calories in 50 minutes and boosts heart rates to 62 percent of heartrate max, providing just a mild aerobic workout. I've dropped a dress size in just a few weeks and with no more beer belly.

I believe that commitment and focus are the primary keys. For physical transformation it is completely possible, but we must move from a “knowing what to do” mindset into a “doing” mindset. Find a good local yoga class and attend 3-4 times per week.

There is nothing known as power yoga. Some one has probably invented this term to promote a product. In Yoga we do not measure efficacy of a particular asana from how many calories it can reduce. Weight reduction is a secondary purpose of yoga asanas. Yoga asanas are performed for energising the body and getting the mind and body in harmony. Also to transform the body into a healthy body which can be utilised for spiritual purposes.

If you follow a diet based on principles of Power Yoga, it will definitely help you lose a lot of weight. it can definitely make you stronger. There are many forms of yoga, and ashtanga is a very powerful, more difficult one.
