Our mind and body are very much affected by the diet that we eat, so we must have proper diet. Imbalanced diet results to mental insufficiency, weak body and blocks spiritual awareness.

"Balanced Diet" is included as one of the four principles of Yoga. According to this principal - our diet should nourish both mind and body, and should be well balanced and based on natural foods. It also means eating in moderation and eating only when you are hungry.

Yogic diet is perfect complement to Yoga exercise, and it will also help you to control weight. Yogic diet is a pure or "sattvic" diet. It is based on the fresh, light and natural food such as fruits, grains, and vegetables. It keeps body lean and supple, and the mind clear and sharp which is suitable for the practice of Yoga and everyday life. It also prevent the Health issues like Diabetes and Obesity.
