Hi

One of my friends likes the show ?Good eats with Alton Browne? and she told me to the recipes of Alton Browne. Now, I can make a tasty dish of mustard leaves. I use breadcrumbs in it. You can also try in the same way.

Mustard leaves maybe good for health as it's rich in vitamins and if taken with clarified oil or butter, it becomes good for vitality and alleviates constipation to a large extent. This recipe is an Indian way of preparing mustard leaves termed "sarson ka saag."

Mustard is considered Tamasic food according to the vedic texts and it has been observed that this food is not condusive for meditations as it disturbs the mind and concentration becomes difficult. Its not a recommended dish and all forms of mustard preparations should be avoided by serious yogic students.
