To get the relaxation, you have to simply practice a simple yoga pose, which takes the 10 to 20 minutes a day, and you will get the relaxation response. It relives the stress and muscle tension, and makes you feel better.
The following are the steps for it: -
1. Sit quietly in a comfortable pose
2. Close your eyes
3. Relax all your muscles, starting at your feet and then moving towards your face.
4. Take your breath through nose, and while you become aware of your breath, say the word ?OM?, breathe naturally and easily.
5. Continue this exercise for 10 ? 20 minutes, you may open your eyes, but don?t use the alarm. After finishing, sit quietly for some time.
6. You will feel the response if you practice it daily, but not within the two hours of your meal because the digestion process may interfere with the evocation of the relaxation response.
