Is wine safer than strong liqour?

I'm 21 yrs old gal, and I'm not a wine drinker but want to know about alcohol? Is beer or wine safer than drinking strong liquor?

I've a studied on alcohol. Who said you it's safe? No, it isn't safe, because one 12 ounce beer has about the same amount of alcohol as one 5 ounce glass of wine, or one 1.5 ounce shot of liquor.
